Rotary Scrub Brushes / Pad-Free Floor Care
Program : Flo-Pac grit brushes are produced on durable plastic blocks
or marine grade plywood and are specially
constructed to provide superior performance. Each brush is filled with DuPont's
Tynex®-A nylon bristles which are impregnated
with silicon carbide for superior action on most automatic and standard floor
machines.

Strata-Grit®
Plus- (Red Colored) - This
brush is for scrubbing heavy soil from concrete in industrial applications. This
is our most aggressive brush, 36 grit silicon carbide within a .070"
diameter of DuPont's Tynex-A nylon. Brushes are usually manufactured
with1-3/4" trim length. This brush will remove skid marks, finishes,
heavy soils, and painted lines if left in one place.
Strata-Grit®
- (Dark Blue Colored) - This brush is for aggressive
scrubbing of concrete and aggressive stripping of resilient floors.
.060" DuPont Tynex-A nylon with 46 grit silicon carbide
brush will also remove heavy soils. Good for uncoated or worn floors.
Nylo-Grit®
- (Green Colored) - This brush is for aggressive scrubbing
of concrete and stripping of resilient floors, terrazzo, and tile. Green colored
.050" DuPont Tynex-A nylon is impregnated with 80 grit coarse silicon
carbide. Replaces brown and black pads.
Scrub-Grit-III®
- (Grey Colored) -
This New Brush is designed for general scrubbing of rough concrete
surfaces. Offers the same trim length as Nylo-Grit (1-3/4") but a
bristles of smaller diameter (.035"). This brush also offers 180 grit
silicon carbide granules. This brush is perfect for those seeking an
aggressive scrubbing brush without the stripping properties of Nylo-Grit,
Strata-Grit and Strata-Grit Plus. Also called "Mid-Lite®
from Malish, one of our main partners.
Scrub-Grit-II® - (Rust Colored) - This brush is for medium to mildly aggressive scrubbing. .022" DuPont Tynex-A nylon, with 120 grit silicon carbide particles, provides effective scrubbing of resilient floors, non-slip flooring, terrazzo, quarry tile, and concrete. Replaces red and blue pads. Excellent for synthetic textured flooring. Set in 1" level or 1.75" trim length. Please speicify preferred trim length when ordering.
Dyna-Scrub®
-(Light Blue) - This brush is for light to medium
scrubbing. .018" blue DuPont Tynex-A nylon filament is impregnated with
fine 500 grit silicon carbide particles for use on vinyl, sealed concrete,
terrazzo, slate, and marble. Replaces red pads. Set in 1" level or
1.75" trim length. Please specify preferred trim length when ordering.
Nylon - (Black Colored) - For light
to medium duty scrubbing jobs. More
durable than Polypropylene. Available in three diameters, .022", .028",
and .032" and usually set in 1-3/4" trim length.
Polypropylene - (Black Colored) - For light
to medium duty scrubbing jobs. More inexpensive than nylon. Resists oils,
solvents and chemicals. Available in .022", .028" and
.040". Usually set in 1-3/4" trim length.
Bassine Fiber - (Natural Brown) - Stiff bassine fiber
enlisted for general
scrubbing purposes. Available in 1-3/4" trim length.
Union Fiber - (White & Tan Colored) -
A mixture of palmyra and white tampico fibers for
general purpose polishing. Usually used on stone flooring.
Available in 1-3/4" trim length.
Tampico - (White
Colored) - 100% white tampico bristle for buffing and polishing
marble. Available in 1-3/4" trim length.
